Hi Kathleen... :-)
Hi Kathleen... :-)
Loved your concert last night in Yorkville at the River's Edge Theatre! I will look forward to the next! I hope you will be able to meet up with my daughter, Megan, in Chicago sometime! Two beautiful and talented young women taking Chicago by storm!

Kathleen - we miss you on the east coast! Haven't seen you since The Blackthorne Tavern in Easton, MA with Gaelic Storm. :-( Speaking of which..we saw them last weekend with their new fiddler...she's good, but she's no Kathleen Keane!! :-)
Come east young lady...come east!
Best regards,
Jim & Linda Cavanagh

Great joblast night at concertand hope to see ya do it again, soon, perhaps in a different venue where people will show up in greater numberes to appreciate and enjoy such a band of great talent!
Are ya familiar with Pat Roachs' band that played The Worlds Fair, Chicago, 1939? My Uncle, John gaffney was the accordian player in that group. I am sending a copy of your program to his three children, my 1st cousins, who are accomplished musicians in their own right. jane Gaffney (fiddel), Ballinlough, Co. Roscommon, Irl. Sean Gaffney, Birmingham, Eng, accordion & fiddle, and willie Gaffney, London, Eng, accordion & fiddle. Anyway, there was a lady in that band name of Eleanor Kane (Neary) who was quite talented and paved way for many great female artists like yourself today. You may want to "google" and check out her history. My Dad, Jim hester, was an original member (bagpipes)of Shannon Rovers Pipe Band. Suggest ya work in pipes into your presentations for an incomparable sound. There is a retired Chicago Police Sgt. out there name of Edward m. Kane (USMC) who I believe would greatly interest you I think you could probably talk any lad into anything! There were people at Heritage center that knew Ed, but I think there has been a lot of "turnover" there. Perhaps, they have a listing for him. If not, try a young lady named Srah Spence 773/792-1762 as she is a talent too of Scottish/Irish ancestory. Enough for now....Jim Hester
